About the founders..

I, Priti, am a software engineer by profession and an artist at heart. After many many years in the lucrative IT industry, I decided to take a break after the delivery of my son.

All my life, I have been influenced by my very artistic and highly talented mother, Jyoti, who has been my teacher and guide in the field of art and home affairs.  In this business venture she brings in her expertize in Crochet, Tatting and hand embroidery.

Mum is a Maths and Science teacher by profession. An ex-Fevicryl teacher and ex-art teacher with Camlin and has about 50 yrs of experience in the field of art.

"It is never too late to be what you might have been" ~ George Elliot
In the break that i took, I persued my hobbies in painting, paper cutting and learnt the art of making Tiffany-style stained glass lamps. Soon, our enterprise Kalavishkar was born 2 years ago with the idea of sharing our creativity with others.
